I have done a fair bot of searching to try and see if this can be achieved, and the first thing I want to point out is that what I am looking for is NOT a mall script
I do not want clients to be able to add their own products, but I do want to be able to sell products that belong to others. It may help if I explain the concept.... I will be selling canvas photogrpahic prints. My own images will be used, but I also want to be able to canvas other photographers within the genre to allow me to sell their images printed on our canvas. My people will be handling all the printing, invoicing, etc.
What I would ideally be looking for is a way that a photographer could log into their account and simply be presented with sales of their images. Something that would enable them to track sales is all, NOT to add extra products.
Suggestions I have seen advising people to go for a mall script would not work for us. Other suggestions to use the multi admin mod would again not work. Both would allow others to add products, and this we do NOT want.
Basically I guess I am looking for something that would allow accounts to be designated as one of the "manufacturers" and thus any sales made for that manufacturer would show in an area of the individuals account space. Payments owing to them would still be processed by us, but they would be able to be advised of sales made for their images.
