Default PayPal stopped working - missing file

Pay Pal Pro has suddenly stopped working - the Payment Module screen shows the following:

Warning: include(/home/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/adcpaypaldp.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/admin/modules.php on line 173

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/adcpaypaldp.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxxx/public_html/tmstore/admin/modules.php on line 173

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class paypaldp in /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/includes/modules/payment/paypaldp.php on line 1637

When I click on the Pay Pal settings it does not even open to allow me to re-install Pay Pal...

How could it suddenly not work - any help appreciated - I have removed the actual path and substituted xxxx above.

The site is www.1scrap.com if you wish to see what is happening.

Thanks for any help you can offer -

    Allan

Looks like you renamed your /includes/modules/payment/paypaldp.php file to adcpaypaldp.php but didn't do the same in your /includes/languages/english/modules/payment folder. And, the system is trying to locate a language file for your renamed payment module.

Solution: NEVER rename a .php file by just adding a prefix to the name. ALWAYS change the ".php" to something like ".php.bak" or ".php1" or ".old" or ".bak" ... or just delete the thing altogether.

Hi Dr. Byte - that is the strange part of this..I have no recollection of renaming the but adc are my initials so it is possible. I will have another look and see if I can sort that out. Thanks for your input...

Thanks again...this is now resolved. Must have done that when I switched to the Pay Pal Pro version.
