How can I change the DELIVERY METHOD (ie: ship vs download)?

Zen Cart 1.3.7

My site was set up to offer downloadable content or for customers to choose mail shipping. How can I change the delivery method of an order? Sometimes customers don't notice or select the "Download" option when checking out, and so their order is setup to be mailed.

Post me a link to the page in question to see if you have the Force select set up in the attribute..

Do I need to have this in the Attributes Controller:

Default Attribute to be Marked Selected:

set to YES to force the user to choose one?

Is there a way to set this universally?

First you have to create the wording in Option Value Manager, then associate this wording (Please Select) in the Attribute Controller with each product.

1. you have to click the 1st (yellow) and 3rd (tan) colored boxes at the bottom to YES. Give an order of 0, upload
2. This will force the customers to choose either download or shipped.
3. If not a warning appears on the page and tell them they have not selected the proper attribute..

Here's a pic of my attributes page. I did get the global setting for the text: PLEASE SELECT DELIVERY METHOD
and I have both options listed on the page as check boxes
BUT, it doesn't force them to choose one. As you step into the next checkout page, it defaults to Shipping.

Hi,

Just setup my cart.

I want to offer customers to either choose download or receive item in the post.

I have set the download selection as radio button and a Post as a radio button but when I look on the cart both of them are selected.

I changed the attribute flags to yel-X, amb-x

Where am I going wrong?
