I'm not sure what's happening!

I just deleted one of my test products and added another. All of a sudden there is another category box showing up on the left of my site titled "Documents" and it has a number 2 in it (the number of products I have in the cart so far).

When I then try to click on areas of my site the whole bottom goes grey and all I see is the top section with the logo. The home button won't bring me back, but if I refresh enough times I'll eventually get back to my index page again, but the "Documents" is still there and if I try to click anywhere else it happens again

Go to the Admin> Tools> Layout Boxes Controller and turn off the Documents Category box

Whew! That was easy! Why did it all of a sudden pop up now? I'd never seen that before.....

You could check by going to phpMyAdmin on your Control Panel for your domain and looking at the database tables for:
products_type in the products table
product_type_id in the product_types_to_category table

If any of the products_type values are different, the default is 1, in the products table ... then you may have done this ...

If you find categories_id listed in the product_types_to_category table you can check the value of the product_type_id to see how the categories are setup and whether or not any have been set to either "all" Document General or part of the Document General group ...
