No add-to-shopping-cart option?

I spent a few hours trying to solve the problem and a few hours to find a similar thread here. I didn't solve the problem and I didn't find the thread. I assume I have a right to put a new one.

The problem is simple: there is no add-to-shopping cart button and, consequently, the whole checkout process is absent too. First, I thought that the button is absent because the payment module is absent. Now I installed the Protx payment module (I am in UK). The Protx payment module apparently functions well (yet in the simulation mode). The button nevertheless didn't appear at any item.

The ZC 1.3.8a; the Protx module 2.6.2. I use a template "Red passion" but slightly modified - in Pink. [/FONT]

Check Admin - Configuration - Store Status

Also possibly Admin - Configuration - Customer Details - Customer Shop Status

Hi,

Replying here to your PM because I hate the PM system! :)

(Plus this is a more appropriate place).

I'm not sure exactly why you're having the problem but it could be that all your products have been entered with a quantity of zero in stock and you have set "Allow Checkout" to "false" in Admin > Configuration > Stock?

That would prevent anyone checking out with something that wasn't in stock.. which, unless you've entered quantities for your products, would be everything!

It's nothing to do with Protx. As you say, you can't even reach the checkout!

sevesh and conor, many thanks for the suggestions, but this is not the case. As I mentioned in the post - I spent a few hours trying to solve the problem. So, all settings in the Admin - Configuration - Stock etc. folders were double checked. The stock for each item is real, not zero.

Other suggestions?

Hi,

Try changing from the template you're using to the standard template. The template could be broken and unable to output add to cart buttons.

I'm afraid that's me out of ideas.

conor, thank you, - a good suggestion. I changed the template - the buttons for the checkout proccess didn't appear. So, it is not the template issue.

Have you edited the tpl_product_info_display.php file?
