EZ-Pages adding an image question.

PART I

I have been trying to add an image to easy pages.

I would prefer it to be a background image so it sits under text.

I would also like it to sit at the bottom right of each ez-page (I can add the html to each page.

Does anyone know the html for this (complete newbie I am afraid).

PART II

But the main problem is getting an image to show.

I am typing the path as follows in the ez-pages edit box:

<img src="/var/www/html/images/backgroundimagesandsml.gif">

But it is not showing - just the dreaded red x.

The image is in that folder, the path is correct.

I am mystified.

I forgot to say, the image should be on the ez-pages "Welcome" page.
