Working SMC Shipping Module ?? Anyone ??

Has anyone got a "working" mod to accomodate the SMC scenario??

Shipping is ZipCodeZone based off of a percentage of the item price....

I see several entries of people asking
That are several years old

Has anyone got one working??

Do not hold your breath it is apparent that ethier there is not a high enough demand or something. In the mean time just use the flat shipping price mod and set shipping to be around what your willing to live with for shipping or set a percentage slightly higher then the one recomended for each zone so you can account for changes based on zip

You can use this mod http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1070 it will work but requires a reconfiguration to match the zone layout of SMC but claims to be easy to do so

Your post is fairly old but I use SMC as a drop shipper and have edited the "zipcodezone mod" to work fine based on the shipping costs for dropshipper SMC (which are based on the cost of the order, not the weight). It calculates shipping based on the total order cost as SMC does and is right on for determining shipping costs after editing the SQL file for zipcodezone.
There hasn't been a reply to this thread in awhile but if anyone needs the edited SQL file let me know.
My current problem now is I've taken on a second dropshipper but they calculate their shipping conventionally by weight of the order, NOT price. I'd like to be able to incorporate both dropshippers into the "zipcodezone mod" but don't know that that is possible.

Anyone have an idea?

Hey Rob, definitely interested in the SMC info, and how to use it, as while i somehow had that all worked out, my site got trashed, and been having trouble finding the info i used originally to get their dropshipping right. Re-learning everything after a few months working on day-to-day chaos.
