change display of product descriptions

hi,

i am looking to change the display of my product description pages they currently look like this:

plain boring an uninspiring, i would like to change the way the text is laid out with all the text and information under the image and the cost price and buy now box to the right of the image.
I would also like to add a "shipping" display i.e delivery 48 hours

i understand i will need to modify the templates but i require some guidance - i can follow instructions easily but this css and php coding is tricky and i dont want to ruin the site.

For the layout part, search the Free Software Add Ons for 'product info display'. Clyde Jones has some options that you could use, or get some ideas from.

As far as the description, you can enter HTML in the description field, then style it in the stylesheet.

had a quick look and can find a few things i am going to try but still they dont give the look i am after, any brainy guy can step in and lend a hand i wold be greatful!
