How do I reinstall the zencart while keeping previous work?

I was recently fired from a job, and in changing their site back to a previous state I inadvertently delete the zencart site. I have the database still, but when I try to run zencart i get the install error page. I have about 16 hours of work in the site and would like to get it back.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear that your employer did not like you... you seem like a very loyal person as you want to re-install their site!

If, as you say, the database is intact, then recovering much of what you did is possible. You will end up with a site that FUNCTIONS in much the same way as the original, but as you have lost your template, the LOOK of the site will be different.

Before you begin:

1. What VERSION of zencart was originally installed.
2. Did you install any additional MODULES on the original site.
3. Have you established if the host has a BACKUP of the site? (They normally do have backups).

Answer these question FIRST, before we walk you through a "recovery" process.
