    Default Comodo InstantSSL Corner Logo

I have just bought the Comodo InstantSSL with which they provide a pretty nifty little coner logo that you can hover the mouse over to get the SSL ID details.

knowing very little about this sort of thing I thought someone may be able to help with instructions on how to install it. The Comodo instructions page with sample is http://www.trustlogo.com/ssl-certifi...rt/index2.html.

They talk about adding code before the </header> and the </body> of each page that I want to display the logo. I would like to ahve it displayed on all pages (perhaps not through checkout if it breaks SSL). I thought that I could add it to header or footer files but got lost when I started looking at the code.

    Thanks for the help

    Thanks Misty.

I installed this sidebox as it sounded like thr ight thing. However I was presented with a failry ugly Comodo seal in the box. I did not see any instructions about intergrating the cornerseal into that box. Am I supposed to edit the contents of the box so as to display the corner seal instead?

One thing that I would add is the code generated by the Comodo website only uses http:// not hhtps:// when linking to your icon. This will generate an SSL error on the encrypted pages.

I suggested editng the code to point to the image using https://

Just installed the corner logo...it was very easy and looks great in Firefox. But, for some reason in IE my background color changes at the at the bottom of the page after the footer (see it at http://www.nebocreek.com). I'm sure its something simple in CSS or something but could someone give me a clue before I spend a bunch of time on this? Thanks in advance.

a very good step by step is here

    http://www.camelot-hosting.com/knowl...cleid=9&nav=0#

and the issue with it only creating the code with http://
if you remember to use https when putting the link for your corner image you will notice that it works just fine.....

Thank you Merlin! That was very helpful in solving a different problem: the COT logo was showing up in my image popup and the window was sizing to the COT logo.

BUT, I'm still having the original problem in IE. The section of the screen from the footer (the bottom of the zen cart footer) to the bottom of the screen has a white background color, which is different than the zencart area's background color.

The height of the mis-colored area changes, in proportion to the height of the zencart contents. For example when you select the Discount Coupons information page, the bottom (white) section is quite large because the zencart area is smaller.

Any idea what might be causing this...or where to start looking at least?

    Thanks for your help!
