After enabling SSL, page problems

Hi. IM very new to this so please excuse any major or obvious errors ive made!

Im using a shared SSL and have edited the code in my config files to 'true' and inserted my https address

When i log into my admin page the ssl works hwoever when i click through to the online catalogue to see the main page its not SSL. When i type the SSL in directly for the main page it goes there but all the page is white and no images display


any ideas?

have i missed a part of code?

After changign my config files and uploaded them what else do i need to do?

In ordinary operation, and when the SSL certificate is installed and configured properly, Zencart only secures the Login/Create Account page and the pages in the checkout process.

Ive just go to my log/create accout pages and no padlaock displays by the URL and the URL is not sslrelay.com/

Besides these is there another way for me to know that zen cart is securing these pages?

Just navigating to your Login page should change the URL to https

Souds like your configure.php files might not be right.

the one thing ive noticed is i havent created a https directory on my server, so ive created one now and will place the catalogue in there

I had changed the config files correctly, but i wasnt uploading them as the file didnt have the write permissions! :) done!


now onto the next hurdle ;) then HSBC!
