some customers can not order: message saying that I do not ship to that area

Hi.

Some customers of mine are reporting that they get an error message saying that I do not ship to that area when they try to order. I seems like this is from my customers which has postal addresses from 9xxx and up. Any tip on where to look to fix this? I can not see a obvious place where anything is wrong. Please advice, any help is appreciated.

The only one green in my list is the "freeshipper" aka "Free Shipping!(all capitals)" which was standard in the installation.

I.E. Free shipping on all orders. ;)

How do you make your products Free Shipping using the Free Shipping freeshipper shipping module?

Do you have 0 weight on all Products?

Or, do you use the Free Shipping Options freeoptions shipping module?

Does the shipping module have an Zones defined on it?

Are there any particular products that they are ordering where this problem occures?

Are all of your products "physical" products as in no downloads or virtual products etc.

1. You are correct. it is that module.

2. It is the only one available

3. Yes, i bleive it is 0 on all products.

4. No it is the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper

5. Shipping zone : NONE

6. It seems to occour on every product, when some certain PO codes are used. It does not occour if they have another PO code in their account and then choose to ship to these "banned" PO codes.

7. Yes, all products are physical.

In the meantime I have narrowed the error text down to the"checkout_shipping.php" and the value : define('TITLE_NO_SHIPPING_AVAILABLE', 'Not Available At This Time'); if that helps any way.

After you mentioned product weight, I checked the last item they tried to order, and it did contain a weight. (17). Is this the reason?

Yes Free Shipping freeshipper ONLY runs on orders of 0 weight ...

Or if the Product is marked as: Always Free Shipping: Yes, Always Free Shipping

I removed all weight through EP since I do not display it anyhow. So now the customers are happy again.. ;)

I haven't a clue ... it is your shipping ...

If you want Free Shipping and you have 0 weight as Free Shipping and/or use the Always Free Shipping YES on the products, then you need the Free Shipping freeshipper shipping module installed ...

I am not sure what you want to do with your shipping beyond get Free Shipping to work ...
