    Hi Ally :)

There's no tpl_header.php file because I didn't make any modifications to that file for the template....you will need to copy the file from includes/templates/template_default/common to the common folder in the template override (includes/templates/GinghamBlue/common) and add your code in there...looks good and it's nice to see the template in use! :)

I have downloaded your template and trying to upload to my website Zen Cart and having problems.

How do you upload a includes folder and get it to show in admin panel? I have uploaded the ginghamblue folder, uploaded includes folder, re-named includes folder, drag & drop all to the /includes/templates folder and just about every way I know.

I can't get it to show in the templates in the Zen Cart admin C/P. The only one that shows is the default classic.

Am I missing something in the install instructions? I am new to Zen Cart but understand some php and have worked with phpBB a great deal.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Bob

You don't need to rename the includes folder...the instructions are pretty clear:

    Instructions for installation:

The files are arranged in the same structure as Zen Cart

These can all be uploaded via FTP to your server as they are without any editing required.

You can just FTP the whole /includes directories to your site.

    Files included in package:

    includes/languages/english/GinghamBlue/header.php
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/buttons/english/{all buttons}
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/common/tpl_footer.php
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/css/stylesheet.css
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/images/body_bg.jpg
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/images/logo.jpg
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/images/tile_back.jpg
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/copyright.txt
    includes/templates/GinghamBlue/template_info.php
The above filenames are in the exact structure for where the files need to be placed, if you are following this then the template will show up in admin....I don't know why you would be renaming includes though when it doesn't say to do that?

"You can just FTP the whole /includes directories to your site".

If you do this it will not work!

If I remove those files and put them in the prospective heading in zen cart then they work or at least mine is.

    Thank You for the reply.

Do you use FTP? Are you familiar with it?

I don't use CPanel for File Transfer, I would hazard a guess that you might need to upload each file individually if you're using that....however if you are using an FTP program such as FileZilla, uploading in the method I described *does* work because the FTP program will upload in the correct file structure, assuming I have placed them correctly in the first place, which I have.
