Disabling customer log in

Hi guys,

I dont want my customers to have to create and account nor log in to make purchases. I simply want them to shop, go to the checkout and enter their details then buy.

Is this achievable with zencart, or are customer accounts compulsory.

Look in the Free Software Add Ons. I believe there's a mod that allows purchases without creating an account. My question is, unless you're selling downloadable products, how are you going to know where to deliver the order?

Many shopping carts that I use personally have a compulsory address field on the checkout page where you enter your cred card details. This is what I was hoping to do with Zencart. Im worried that the whole sign up for an account thing will put shoppers off.

Any hurdle, or extra step in between the customer getting on my site and them pressing the buy button is undesirable....its a chance to bail out.
