Blank admin on localhost!

Hello

I installed Zen Cart on localhost (using the newest XAMPP and the newest Zen Cart)

It worked fine, i set up the mysql, change the design and all, but 1 week ago after trying to acces the shop, it told me to empty admin_activity_log in phpmyadmin.

so i did that (with TRUNCATE) and from then on i can't log into the admin. i enter the password and username (yeah, i'm sure they are right) and then the browser loads for a couple of minutes to get me to a completely blank page.

so i tried to reinstall zencart, but got the same prob, i tried to export the admin_activity_log of the new installation into the old one, but it didnt work, i tried to reinstall and install a new version of XAMPP, but it didnt work.

please help me as soon as possible!

I got the answer, thanks to webchills from zen-cart.at

for all the people that have the same problem, her's how i did it:


open includes/version.php with an editor and replace the checkup_url entry with this line

define('NEW_VERSION_CHECKUP_URL','');
