    Default SSL Question...

I have found out that we can get a free, shared certificate from our hosting company. I'm looking at the tutorial for getting it set up on the cart and step number one was to see if it was working on our site. Since it's a shared I can't use the https:mysite.com. I need to use https:secure.....hostingname....blahblah. SO, I type that in, and my site comes up BUT none of the images are there. It's a white page with a bunch of links. Is this ok? Or if I try to proceed, will it mess up the site and leave broken pages?

So it's ok that it's showing up like that, with no images?

Until you have altered config files for SSL, this is correct.
TIP...make copies of BOTH config files BEFORE altering.
