Extra charge

I'm trying to enter products into my store, I select them to be non-taxable, but for some reason when the price displays, its not correct.

I enter a price of 2500.00, and then in the store it shows the price as $2,778.25

I have the item set to no tax class, and free shipping. I've also set the tax rate to 0% and the price still goes up

Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Can you check your currency settings and make sure that your default currency has a value of 1.00 ...
