VAT missing on checkout

Hi there,

My shop is set to display prices with VAT. When I add products to the basket, the total price includes it so eveything works fine until I log in to checkout. Then, the VAT is missing (not calculated anymore)…

I'm displaying the cart session variables on top of the page that (I think) show the problem occurs on the first step of the checkout process.

Hi Dave

There is no sign of the VAT in the checkout system, have you set up your VAT?

Try changing your prices to be plus VAT to see if you can see a fault that way, it looks to me that it is not even set up.

Hi Dave

On my store, I have vat inclusive prices too, but I have a tax class called VAT. This shows the VAT calculation in the checkout section. Try setting up a tax class called VAT and see how you get on.

This is why it is not showing up in the checkout.

PS This would be in your Location/Taxes > Tax Classes

Yes, I am pretty sure this is where the problem is, can you post your entire settings for Locations/Taxes please.

Just curious ... but why, if I am from Ohio, do I need to pay your Tax based on your store address?
