I have been playing with the design of my site and had a functioning custom template that I didn't like the look of. I copied those template files, renamed them, made what I thought were some very simple cosmetic changes, and switched templates.

I reset all the sidebox settings in the layout boxes controller, and I thought I had adjusted all the other variable settings to match my other template, but no matter what I try I cannot get the categories or customer greeting to show up. Obviously I have changed something I wasn't aware of. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?
