McAfee SECURE subscriptions

I have contacted McAfee looking into getting the certificate that almost every site out there has... They quoted me a price of $1,479 anually. Is this high low normal? Is there any way of obtaining a certificate from McAfee like this cheaper? I have Bluehost as my hosting company, but what they offer i believe i don't get a certificate with it...

What exactly are you looking for?

If you want an SSL certificate, one-tenth that price would be too much. Don't let McAfee use their name to rip you off.

For a basic Zencart site, using Paypal or a credit card merchant account, most any SSL cert will do. Check with your host.

For the most part, that seems like the "all inclusive security package and SSL"; that is a higher end package. There are lost of security companies offering the same sort of thing. Best thing to do is google around.

I already have a ssl with RapidSSL... McAfee called me and told me they would get sales up to 10% Just was asking, i always seen it on websites, thought it was way high. Thank you
