What are you planning to use Zencart for? Zencart is an ecommerce software, I wouldn't recommend running it on any free host. You are exposing your customers and yourself to many risks.

Why dont you try it on your own computer? You can get this package installed and you now have your own local server with everything ready to run zen

I doubt you'll find any *decent* free hosting that will provide all the detailed services such as php5 and its bandwith; unless otherwise your best friend. It only cost $9/mo for most decent hosting.

With freeehostia.com, you're only going to get 10MB database storage (are you kidding??).

You should look into owning your own, otherwise, get hosted by bluehost or he.net. Nothing is Free in this world IMO. Otherwise, you can try host it in your own computer as yellow1912 suggested. :)

Try http://www.dyndns.org for your dynamic DNS solutions if you want to go out-sorcing-free approach.

    Hi All

Thanks All. Actually my intention is t test on a real online server to ensure I can make it work before subscribing with monthly charges.
Running on local drive is useful but still i need to install php , its admin, my sql ...
Plus I can't be sure I will do the right setting locally.
Even it work in my PC, can I be sure it works on server which I dont have full control.
Can the whole online cart completed on local drive be uploaded to online server & run immediately like real?

You can pick up the entire cart when its done and move it to a live server,
the only things that will need to be changed are the 2 config files,

change teh domain name and the server paths ( get these from your host ) and all is well,
