    Default Cannot add attributes.

Please tell me it's me again...

I cannot successfully add attributes and values. I try to add the first and it 'adds' it but doesn't add the name. I go in the php admin and add the name and it displays fine. OK but either way when I add a second it causes a key error. I have emptied the table through php admin before starting so the only record there is the one Zen Cart had just added. When I try to add a value, it too goes base over apex with a duplicate key. Is there something I need to do prior to adding 'option names' that is causing this?
    I am using

    Database: MySQL 5.0.67-community-log
    PHP Version: 5.2.6 (Zend: 2.2.0)
    Zen Cart 1.3.8a
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
    v1.3.8 [2008-12-01 07:53:11] (Fresh Installation)

    Thanks

None. Should there be? I just want to explore size and colour options and see what it actually does.

The ISP had put redirect to HTTPS on throughout the site (they wanted to help) I have taken it off and going through non secure it now seems to work. Although you can have the customer select an attribute, can you not keep separate stocks? I cannot find any really good help on attributes. Are there any?
