Default Using a html file as header/logo

Hi, I've have searched the forum. Found a thread discussing it but they didn't come to a conclusion. I want to use multiple images on my header so that I can have my logo and some buttons on the same line.

I have divided the image in photoshop, and it compilates a html file automatic.

    This is the picture:

I want to have different links on the different buttons.

    Thanks for all help!

Before you go any further I would have a look at the size of the image, it's currently too big to display on the page! It does look good but at 1005px wide you may have display problems.

The width of the mainwrapper is 1005 px. Exactly like the picture.

There is no need to chop up your image. Use it whole as the background of #headerWrapper, and position the links on it with transparent backgrounds. Give each link a separate id and you can move them as you wish with the stylesheet.

As far as the width, 1005px may fit on the average page, but when you get a vertical scrollbar, will it still fit without causing horizontal scrolling?

This sounds like a solution. But how do I add links in the stylesheet?

Yes, I have a resolution of 1024x768, it fits without horizontal scrolling.

You don't add links in the stylesheet. That is only for positioning the links you add or have in the tpl_header.php code.

Are you sure I don't get banned from google by using "invisible" links?

If you're concerned about that, you can take the text off the image and use it in the link.

But, will the image work like a link? Or do customers have to click on the text?
