What's correct GoDaddy DB Name & Host?

I suspect this is a lame question but I cannot get ZenCart Install to setup the DB. This is a test setup so I'm not worried about security so here are the actual entries -

DB name = apg0835808151711 (from GoDaddy DB Control Panel)
Host = 68.178.254.44:42675 (from GoDaddy "SHOW PROCESSLIST ")


The error is host or DB name or PW is wrong (the password is the one thing I know is correct).

What am I doing wrong?

I followed the instructions from GoDaddy.

HOST = apg0835808151711.db.2647312.hostedresource.com
USER NAME = apg0835808151711

WOW - such easy to remember names!

But they still fail in the ZenCart installation.

Do these names seem plausible?
Is there anyway I can test them independent of ZenCart?

I'm not sure what the correct information is for your specific setup.
Have you contacted their support for assistance?
While I'm not a fan of recommending this, have you tried their one-click install for Zen Cart?
You might also search around about the experiences others have had with your choice of hosting company ... even at the bottom of this page.

Wow! GoDaddy is an inadequate hosting company? Despite the heresy of this thought, maybe there's something wrong with ZenCart? I'm using a Linux server that supports PHP and mySQL. The hosting company even offers a service to pre-install ZenCart. But I've learned that there are often subtle problems that can prove to be significant, so I will withhold judgment. But I am not going to change hosting companies so I can run ZenCart - I want to set up a "store" that will sell at most 10 items and ZenCart looked like it might be a good solution. The GoDaddy feedback on ZenCart was slightly better than the alternative shopping cart system.

For what it's worth,
<1> I did use their install and I tried another install with a template. Both have gotten hung up when I get to the DB page.
<2> I did contact GoDaddy support and they supplied me with the info that I identified above. It seems hard to believe that the DB username and the DB host are wrong, even if ZenCart has problems with it.

Oh well, if I can't find an answer I will just try another shopping cart system.

This from someone who can't seem to get a username, database name, and password for the config file figured out. Yes those names a plausible, I see them all of the time when I transfer customers out of Godaddy hosting. When you set up the db did you keep track of the password? That would be the 3rd item you need for the config file. If you believe you have all of the info and it still doesn't work dump that database and create a new one. Cut and paste all of the information into notepad (especially the password, cause you'll only see it once when the db user is setup). Once you have that you can run the zen cart install successfully. If all else fails doesn't Godaddy have the autoinstaller, which will create the database and write the info to the config files for you? The issues with Godaddy are many but mostly revolve around curl proxy, and slow servers, for most things they are fine but anyone running a busy store (lots of products, good traffic) soon learns they need to move to a server that can produce good parse times. ZC will run fine over there as long as you are willing to jump through a couple of hoops, because of their setup, and don't expect to have a heavily used site, because of overloaded servers.
