    Default HELP! Mods Gone Wrong!!!

I am trying to get the Column Layout Grid and Fual Slimbox mods working properly. Both are installed and showing in my admin.

With regards to the Column Layout Grid, I have changed my settings to column but the items still appear in a row. Can someone take a look at my site and offer some solutions?

Additionally, I now have the Product Listing Layout Style showing up twice in configs. How do I remove the mod so that I can start fresh?

With regards to Fual Slimbox, when I click an image it opens in a new page in the same window. Possible Solutions Please?

    Thanks!!!

You are still using the "Classic" template - - Where did you upload the files in these modules where the distribution lists "your_template"

Ok... I got the column grid layout working but I am still having problems with fual slimbox.

I uninstalled the mod and tried to reinstall it but got an error. Something like... "cannot insert configuration new because it already exist."

When I click on fual slimbox under configs it is empty; however, I can see the mods headers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest is to restore your Database from a backup made prior to the module install - something one should always do prior to making any change.

Assuming you did not do this and also assuming if you did not, that you are not familiar with editing Databases....

It comes with an "uninstall sql" have you tried this??

No, I didn't back up the file and no I don't have any experience editing databases; however, I like to think that I am a quick learner. It does have an uninstall file and it works fine, bu when I try to reinstall I get following error:

ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists

I have learned my lesson, I will never fool around with the database with out backing it up... Any solutions.

the folders that were named YOUR_TEMPLATE should have been changed to the name of the folder you are using for your template in your file structure not template_default.

You are getting the ERROR message because it's already been run, and you would have to run the uninstall.sql file made for that mod to run that sql statement again.

Thanks! I created a custom template and moved all the appropriate files to my custom template. I think that is why the category grid mod is now working.

I have uninstalled the mod using the appropriate sql file. That is the error I get when I try to reinstall the mod. I actually get that message when I try to install any sql file.

Searching the forums I found the exact same situation and the guy fixed it by editing his database manually... something I don't know how to do...

As always help is greatly appreciated.
