    Default Importing customer db

I have a very small webshop which runs Zen Cart 1.3.7
I wish to upgrade to 1.3.8 but since I have very few products I think maybe it's easier to just make a new install and import all the customer info instead of upgrading.

Can somebody confirm that these are all the tables from the database I need to import into the new installation?

    address_book
    customers
    customers_info

There should not be any problems doing this?
    Or....? ;)

I would just back up and do the 138a install.

Be sure to select Upgrade and you won't lose anything in your database.
    Cheers!

Idea or Suggestion Re: Importing customer db

Let me say that you are doing the right thing, but back up your database, and installation files before you upgrade, the upgrade should go without problems depending on your template you may need to make adjustments, but if you select upgrade all your data will transfer to the new installation.

If you have any problems come back to the forum.

There's some add ons in the old version I would like to get rid of.
So I thought a fresh installation would be better than a upgrade.

I made a working copy of my webshop and uploaded the new Zen Cart.
Then I tried to do an upgrade but I get this message:

    Code:
1062 Duplicate entry 'Customers who have never completed a purchase' for key 2
    in:
[INSERT INTO query_builder (query_category, query_name, query_description , query_string) VALUES ('email, newsletters', 'Customers who have never completed a purchase', 'For sending newsletter to all customers who registered but have never completed a purchase', 'SELECT DISTINCT c.customers_email_address as customers_email_address, c.customers_lastname as customers_lastname, c.customers_firstname as customers_firstname FROM TABLE_CUSTOMERS c LEFT JOIN TABLE_ORDERS o ON c.customers_id=o.customers_id WHERE o.date_purchased IS NULL');]

I made a new backup of the original database and replaced it with the one I tried to upgrade.

The I ran the installer again and tried to upgrade.
    Now I got this message:

    Code:
SKIPPED: Cannot ALTER or INSERT/REPLACE into table linkpoint_api because it does not exist. CHECK PREFIXES!
Is this something I have to worry about?

I seem to remember something about the linkpoint payment gateway module and upgrading, i think you need to write down your linkpoint settings disable the module then upgrade, then bring the module back on line, try that, or it upgraded and now you have to fix your linkpoint module!

If you're not using the linkpoint payment module, you can ignore that message about its table not existing.
