Going nuts with downloadables. Please help!

Ok first off I've been through about 20 threads and I've read the ones on downloadable products.

I set up 2 products in my zen cart, 1 worked fine, and the other thought it was supposed to be shipped, and would not enable downloads. Now after playing with various settings including disabling shipping modules, neither product works right.

I have added option names, values, valid file links, mark as default, etc. etc. and this is driving me nuts... can anyone help?

I've been through that one 50 times, there must be some outside variable in the system that will disable proper downloads, or some module that if it's missing will cause my error. It's nuts, and I can see that I'm going to be on my own to figure it out.

2. Products that should only be downloaded, aren't allowing people who purchase them the ability to download.

The $2 dollar gamepack is working now for some reason. I haven't changed a thing. but the 8 dollar gamepack is still not working right and I actually copied the 2 dollar product that functions normally. Only adding new attributes in the same manner with the same settings.

That's fine BUT you have to remember to enter correct zip file details for each specific item.
