Customizing Newsletter Subscribe Layout in Footer

I'm having a bit of trouble getting everything to align correctly with the Newsletter Subscribe in my footer. (There was an option to have it in the header, but I put the code in the footer instead.)

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction? I usually don't have problems with this sort of thing.

anyone? I still haven't been able to align things properly. I've messed around with the subscribe_header template file, but lack of PHP knowledge is proving this useless.
