I had a weird experience with mozilla.

My site looked great in IE and Avant but mozilla would not display header image properly.

In the process of troubleshooting, I had changed the logo position to float right. In IE it went to the right as expected.

In Mozilla, the logo stayed to the left but my header image moved to its proper position as it appeared in the other browsers. So, I decided to change the logo position back to float left. IN IE it moved left but in Mozilla, it stayed at the left position where it was when I had it set to float right.

These sorts of cross-browser problems usually indicate that the site's structure is broken and different browsers are trying to make sense of the result differently. Have you checked whether there are validation errors that might provide clues for the underlying cause?

I think I might have used an earlier stylesheet.css file on my new install.

Thats probably the problem.
