Pretty much need Checkout Functionality only

Hi Gang,

I have a question. When startnig our online store, we were looking for a simple solution - that we had worked with previosuly and knew how to launch quickly and without much effort. So we chose to go with Yahoo Stores, and with a HTML based site, using only Yahoo Stores for their checkout functionality.

We have a site with only one product, no categories, no additional features needed. We just want a button on an HTML site, that lets u go to a checkout page, with the item already added if clicked.

Our shipping, and checkout stuff is a bit complicated, so we want a robust system in place for that.

As for presentation, etc. we want to take care of it ourselves.

Can ZENCart do this?

Anything is possible, but Zen Cart is not built to work that way and would need a bunch of customization to do what you ask. Your site would be easy to reproduce completely within Zen Cart, and then you would have a seamless entity instead of trying to jam two things together.

You can handle the presentation yourself by modifying the ZC template files appropriately, so the pages look like you want them to. Much of the content could be pasted directly from your current pages into define pages or ez-pages in Zen Cart.
