Create a New Page

Hi, I'm a fluent in PHP but am new to zen cart.

I've looked into doing this and can get it to work fine, my concern is there appears to be a number of options (Change system files directly, define pages editor, EZ Pages), and I want to make sure I have the option which is the most easily maintainable for the future.

I did create pages following the wiki guide at

The issue I have is I can't link to it via the admin panel and also I can't edit it via the admin panel.

My criteria for the new page is:-

1) It must be editable via the admin panel (My new page is not currently)
2) I want to be able to link to it via the footer menu (via the admin panel)

I basically want to create a new page which can be totally controlled via the admin panel, in order to give the customer greater flexibility going forward.

I also created a test EZ-PAGE and switched the footer link on, but it still only shows the home page.

Does anybody know the best option going forward ?

Eazypage can not have php code in its content, define page

For define page, you can use the define page generator to get a new page in seconds, check the add-ons

Both can be set footer links (I'm assuming your footer links are using ezpage footer links?)
