Zone 2 and above are not working

Hi

Matter what I do, I can't get zone 2 and above rates to apply to the shipping module. Zone 1 seems to apply to all zones.

This is what I did to set up Zones:

I'm only shipping within one country so I deleted the rest. Only ZA(South Africa) shows.
I then defined zones(11) according to the places I send to.
Then I went to zone definitions and put in the zones in various zone definitions(4).
I then went to the shipping module and saw 4 zones(assuming this corresponds to the zone definitions)
I then entered the zone table rates for each zone.

My problem is not when I choose a zone in the estimated shipping window, the rate does not change accordingly to the rate set in zone rates. A zone sits in zone definition 3 and has a different rate to the rest. Yet no matter what zone I choose, the first zone rate applies and the others are ignored.

I get the impression from reading the forum that zones only work per country. So if I define zone 1 to be ZA, the next will have to be a different country?? Is this a false assumption as well?

OK I still dont get why zone rates are not working as I think they should be working. I hope someone can explain it to me sometime. In the meantime I installed this mod http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...t=73166&page=1 and now zones are working as expected.
