    Default USPS International Delivery Options

    In Zen-Cart, in the USPS Shipping Module, it lists:

    Global Express
    Global Express Non-Doc Rect
    Global Express Non-Doc Non-Rect

    None of these are shown on the USPS website. I gather that they've changed the names of some of these services and now they only list Global Express Guaranteed.

    Does the current USPS Shipping Module, along with the latest 'fix' that I found elsewhere in this forum, work ok with this Global Express Guaranteed?

    If it does work ok, then how can I go about changing the shipping module so that it reflects the correct 'name' for this service?

    I just checked to make sure I have the most current USPS module, but perhaps I have it misconfigured. I'm getting the following error for my test shipping address:

    United States Postal Service
    We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
    If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
    (Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)
    My client needs to be able to ship internationally as well as domestically, so any help would be appreciated.

    Be sure that you do the REMOVE, INSTALL and reconfigure ...

    OK, did that, but I'm still getting the same error.

    Do I have to configure a Shipping Zone for this module to work? My settings are these:

    Enable USPS Shipping: True
    Enter the USPS Web Tools User ID: *********
    Which server to use: production
    Handling Fee: 0
    Tax Class: --none--
    Tax Basis: Shipping
    Shipping Zone: --none--
    Sort Order: 3
    All Packages are Machinable: False
    USPS Options: Display weight, Display transit time
    Domestic Shipping Methods:
    EXPRESS, PRIORITY, FIRST CLASS, PARCEL, MEDIA, BPM, LIBRARY
    International Shipping Methods:
    Express Mail Int, Priority Mail International, Priority Mail Int Flat Rate Box, First Class Mail Int Package, First Class Mail Int Parcels
    Debug Mode: Email

    I do have a shipping zone set up for the United States, but nothing explicitly created for International. (And not totally sure how I'd go about creating that.)

    You should not need a shipping zone unless you are limited the USPS shipping module to only certain places being able to use it ...

    What is the Ship To address that you are testing with?

    What is the Weight of the Order?

    For my initial test, I just used my home address (in the U.S.). The weight is 1 lb.

    You are showing that you are not using a Zone on USPS but then you said:

    Do you have USPS setup with a Zone?

    What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

    Linda, I'm confused: I already posted my config info for the shipping module, so I'm not sure what additional information you're asking for.

    To me (admittedly ignorant of these shipping settings), the USPS module appears to have NO zone applied to it. So I'm assuming some default behavior (but can find nothing in the ZC documentation about what the default behavior should be.)

    I used a US address for my first test because I thought it should at least work for a domestic address that I know is valid. But it doesn't. So I'm stuck.

    You will also get that message if:

    1 you have not activated your account with USPS for the production server after obtaining your USPS Web Tools User ID

    2 for some reason your account with USPS has become disabled ... it happens no clue why USPS does this

    3 you have an invalid 5 digit zip code for you shop because you put in your 5+ zip code

    4 you installed the new USPS module and did not follow the instructions
