top category without sub-cats has no right arrow

In the category box you have your top categories which have an arrow to their left which is facing right and pointing to the top category. This is the situation if that top category has sub-categories under it. When selected the arrow turns downward to point to the sub-categories. This is fine but when a top category has no sub-categories (only products) it only has a horizontal line to it's left instead of an arrow facing right. (ver 1.3.8, rustic)

Whew!

How do I replace the small horizontal line with a right facing arrow without having to add sub-categories to the top category?

I think you will get better answers in the Rustic template support thread. Those not using that template will not know what appearance or code you have, especially without a link to your site.

That template uses the Better Categories mod, so looking at its support thread may also be helpful.

In general, I can say that the fix for your request will be in the stylesheet.

Do you really not want to let the customers know which categories have subcats and which ones hold products directly?
