In the Free Software Add Ons link (top left of this page) you can find a tool called Easy Populate. Using it you can download to your local computer a full data dump from your catalog. You can then edit it (carefully!) in Excel or similar program to remove products you don't want, then upload the changed file to your new site and use Easy Populate to put the data into your database there.

    OR...

You could make a backup of your current database using the control panel on your server, then move that backup copy to your new site and use it to replace the empty database from your new Zen Cart install. This is easiest if both your sites are on the same server. Then you could edit the new database to remove those products you don't want to sell on the new site.

Did you do the backup using the control panel on your server? Then you would find the backup file using the file manager in the control panel, and move a copy of that to the same relative spot in your new site, then unpack it.

I wish I could be more specific, but I'm not a server guru. You could always ask your server people to help, as details will vary from server to server.
