Hi All

I am selling various things, now what i am looking for is to sell before having the product in my warehouse , kind of taking pre-orders

I am thinking to have two prices for the same product, if someone wants to buy and recieve it in 3 days, the price will be x , but if they accept to wait 5 weeks, the price will be y... Thinking about a 10-20% discount regarding the price of the item

Thinking for the best way to offer this...

Any ideas more than welcome

I would be more concerned about what your rethoric will be as to why I would have to wait 5 weeks or 3 days

Kinda smacks of "I really don't have any of these but can expedite in 3 days for a higher fee or if you will wait I can get a larger order and pass some of the savings on"

Thanks for the thoughts but you can see the same proposition in many retailers in the UK, so people will understand why they will be waiting and i am happy with that, as all my products are exclusive i am their only option

So how would you implement it the website

info on product information? Saying that enter the code on checkout if you want to wait for 4 weeks for x percent of dicount?

Yeah could do it for each product that you want it offered on or if this will be for all items - you could reference it in your ordreing or shipping policies or??
