Text on Header not showing

Hi folks,

I have attempted several times to add my company slogan to the header, how it's not working.

I added my slogn through header.php and uploaded. However, it still doesn't work. Using the lavendar template.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you shore you have edited the right language file. Edit your language file and text will show correctly.

If you're adding it in the HEADER_SALES_TEXT line, that is, I'm pretty sure, the tagline.

You have color:#ffffff; in #tagline, so it wouldn't show against your white header background.

Aside form the tagline being white on white.... its not currently there...


Under the "Home" link & above the category menu see the " just sitting there?

I suspect the language file is broken... try restoring the language file and beginning again, don't forget to change the tagline color.

Thanks folks for the quick response.

I am still having problems. My slogan is not displaying next to my logo on the header. It's coming up underneath, main bar across the top.

mprough suggested my language file could be broken, as the following symbol was noted " under HOME heading. Attached is a copy of css stylesheet.


What am I doing wrong??

Please help.

As for the language file, what should I be looking for?
