    Default sub-categories not showing

    I seem to remember that you can have the sub-categories would show in a tree-like format under the categories view on the left side of the site.
    I looked through the manual and can't find how to turn this back on.
    I'm currently using 1.3.8a

    Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > "Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories"
