Editing layout of a category's product list

Hi,

Can anyone help, which files should I be looking to edit?

I'm trying to edit the layout of a category's product list. By this I mean the list of products you'd see if you click on a category that has multiple products within it, similar to viewing the 'all products' or 'new products' pages.

I managed to customise the 'all products' and 'new products' layouts no problem but a category's product list doesn't seem to be built in the same way?

That's the 'product listing' page, and we'll need an idea about what you want to do.

Sorry just saw your post, thanks very much for the reply, the solution you posted is exactly what I'm after. I'll have a play around with it and leave some feedback.

OK, it looks like that add-on won't achieve what I'm after.
I've included a few screen shots of what I'm trying to do (sorry I can't link to the site, it's password protected as we're currently testing our live payment system)

Essentially what I'm trying to do is "tidy up" the product listing appearance, and bring it into line with how the view all products listing appears... i've attached screen shots of both.

As I said in a previous post, it doesn't look as though the product listing page is formed in the same way that view all and view new product listing pages are (i guess its a legacy thing from older versions?)... anyways, i'm struggling to figure out which files I need to edit

Any pointers would be much appreciated, thanks!
