Need Help with Authorize.net

I am trying to configure my site and I am having issues with Authorize.net.

I tried to configure it for SIM at first and was having issues with it. I would place a real order with my credit card and it showed, upon checkout, that there was a problem with my credit card. I would pop over to Auth.net and it would show that it went through. I also selected to ask for the CVV and it never would.

I was reading in the forum that it was better to use AIM so I popped over to that and attempted to install it. It came up one time for me to fill out the information but now it shows both AIM and SIM and it will not let me back into AIM (it wants to install). When I try to reinstall it I get this...

1062 Duplicate entry 'MODULE_PAYMENT_AUTHORIZENET_AIM_STATUS' for key 2

If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I am also not able to remove either module. I am assuming the two are conflicting with each other but do not know how to remedy this. Any help would be appreciated

That's very peculiar behavior, suggesting that maybe you've got a very old version, or an incomplete install, or some addons installed that are conflicting somewhere.

This may help you to uninstall them:
- Log into your Admin, go to your Admin->Modules->Payment page where the payment modules are normally listed.
- Change your URL by changing "/modules.php" to "/modules.php?set=payment&module=authorizenet_aim&action=remove" and press Enter.
- Do it again and change "authorizenet_aim" to just "authorizenet".
That should remove both modules.
Then you should be able to click install again on the desired module.

Thank you thank you thank you. I was able to delete both modules using your suggestion and reinstall AIM and it all appears to be working.

This is the version I am on
Zen Cart 1.3.8a
Database Patch Level: 1.3.8

It was a new install. The only Mods I put in "easy populate"
