    customer issue Zencart with Netins.net

Does anyone else have Netins.net as the webhost while using Zencart? Netins has told me that I have to go through their system to edit things so I am unable to edit code like the suggestions listed here. I need to know how to do a few things like changing the words on the title page and the names of the pages listed. Can I add pages? I also need to know how to sync my SQL with Zencart properly as I am selling photos online.

    Thank you,
    Angi

If a host spins you a load of bull about only being able to edit stuff through their systems, then they clearly have no idea of what Zencart is about.

Don't waste time with idiot hosts. If you want trouble-free hosting with people who live and breathe Zencart, click the Certified Hosts link at the top of this screen.

(Netins appear to be horribly expensive for the limited services they provide.)

Not familiar with them but they do not sound as though they are in business to assist your business. As you should have full access to your account, files, databases and ability to change these at will.

You should have FTP access to your site. If you don't, CHANGE HOSTS!

Unzip Zen Cart on your computer.

Use a good text editor like Crimson Editor or Notepad++ to edit files.

Use an FTP client like Filezilla to upload the changes.

Filezilla, Crimson Editor and Notepad++ are all free downloads from the net.

Some changes can be made through the Zen Cart admin. What kind of pages do you need to add?
