Information SideBox Blank in IE 6 and 7

The information box containing: Contact Us, Conditions of Use, Discount Coupons and so on... is blank in IE 6 and 7.

Actually, it seems that the text just starts out "white" against the white background. After hovering over them, they become visible.

Then, if you open another tab, or minimize, the text becomes white again, until you hover. Why is this? We have changed no CSS and see this problem in IE6 and 7. Firefox does not do this.
