multiple images for a product - how!??

I need to have multiple images for some products. I've created a specific product folder called 'aero' in the images folder. All the images are named aero.jpg, aero_MED.jpg, aero_LRG.jpg, aero_1.jpg, aero_2.jpg etc. When I view the product it only shows the aero.jpg, even when you click for a larger image. If anyone can tell me what I'm missing I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you put them in the proper folders?

Did you put the medium and large images in the correct folders according to this tutorial?

There is no reason to use a separate folder for a product; the base image and additional images should be in /images/ unless you have a particular need to organize a very large number of products/categories.

Admin -> Catalog -> Product Types.

Click on the Product Types (i.e. Product General).

Click on Edit Layout.

Set 'show product additional images' to 1.

It should be that way by default, but is a good thing to check, just in case.
