    red flag Help Adding Products

    I am using Zen Cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8 and have installed the Future Zen Template...

    When I try to add products, I get the following error page:

    Not Found
    The requested URL /shop/admin/Product- General.php was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/1.3.41 Server at designers-cu.com Port 80

    Does anyone have ANY idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

    There was a similar post and I posted asking how to fix it days ago, but no replies...

    It should be looking for product.php at that point.

    I'd try re-uploading the whole admin folder and overwriting what's there.

    I'll assume you had your host install Zencart?

    You'll need to familiarize yourself with an FTP program like Filezilla (free), so you can upload and download files to your server.

    If you haven't done anything yet, it might be a good idea to re-install Zencart manually yourself, to see how things operate.

    No, actually I am the host and I used FileZilla to upload the template. I just don't know how to "re-upload the admin folder and overwrite what's there" as you said earlier.

    I've uploaded several templates to several Zen Carts and have never had this happen before, so I'm not sure what to do.

    Any explanation of how to fix it would be very much welcomed. Or... do I need to reup the template and start over?

    This is incorrect ...
    Product- General.php

    Makes me think there is bad data on the Catalog ... Product Types ... EDIT ... and you will see the Handler Page:

    Could you check that it reads:
    product

    Linda, I did as you asked and changed "Product-General" to "Product" and now I get this error when trying to add products-

    The template (especially Future Zen) won't have any effect on the admin. There is probably some basic problem with the files there.

    You should have an unzipped set of ZC files on your pc. In Filezilla, select the local /admin/ folder and upload it to your site. Before doing this, save a copy of
    /admin/includes/configure.php elsewhere for reference.
