Merchant Accounts

I'm a little confused on this.

Under Admin->Modules->Payments - If I enable a merchant account whom handles my credit card processing that means when a customer orders something from my ZenCart site that their CC payment will automatically be inserted into my merchant account system? In other words, I don't have to manually enter in the credit card sale?

If you have an Internet merchant account, and it's configured properly, yes.
