No. There's no way to do both the Zen Cart files and the database at the same time.

There's information about backing up the database in this tutorial: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=103

You can back up your Zen Cart by FTPing the folders and files to your local drive (your computer).

There are modules you can install in Zen Cart to backup the files and DB separately..

    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...products_id=81

But.... The best method **if you have the ability is backups in your hosting control panel.

for Database, i would rather use Phpmyadmin database management system that is standard with all hosting companies that provide mysql services. you can find tutorial on how to correctly do the backup.

if you have access to file manager on your hosting account , you can simply select your root folder and zip it , this process will start the zip and once done will start the download process on your computer.

    Thanks for the tips.
I downloaded, unzipped and FTPed PHPmyAdmin into my root directory and when I directed my browser to PHPmyAdmin I get blank page. Does anybody have any suggestion of what is going wrong or a link to a good instruction page. Thanks.

phpMyAdmin is installed & compiled on your server... not hosting account.

If you do not have it and you are professionally hosted contact your hosting company.

If you are running your own server then follow this http://www.aota.net/PHP_and_MySQL/phpmyadmin.php4
