using multiple shipping methods

After searching the forum, have come to the conclusion that it's not possible to use more than one shipping module at a time.

I have six different shipping modules activated, what you are look for is not Impossible, but someone is going to have to write some code, there is a help wanted thread on this forum and then there's always Odesk.

How will shipping be calculated and applied if a customer orders:

a product with shipping class A
a product with shipping class B

... in the same order?

haven't given it much thought. Like to do both at one time, but i guess it's not possible.
