Default SOS, Customer Info is Lost

So here's the problem. I was originally hosted on Dreamhost and my website got hacked so I decided it was time to move up to a more secure host. I am now at Rackspace. I am trying to do a fresh install of Zen Cart 1.3.8 and transfer my Database (which was on 1.3.7) from dreamhost to rackspace. I have followed this tutorial

    http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...P_THE_DATABASE

and still can not seem to see the customer information. I then tried to rename my exported data base to match my new more complex data base name and import it (which I learned from here http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86380), with still no success.

The only thing that I have noticed that is different is that Dreamhost's data base was xxx.myurl.com (where "xxx" is my data base name) where as Rackspace is https://mysql.dfw1-1.websitesettings.com then i enter the name of my data base and select my "server choice" to login.

Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated, so thank you in advances.

DH provides phpmyadmin and you should have followed the tutorial in making a usable backup
    https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=103

Assuming you also have access to phpmyadmin you can then import it and should not have any issues....

Might check your version and the php and mysql versions between the 2

Thank you for your quick reply but the tutorials are identical, one just says use phpMyAdmin, and the other doesn't. However this is irrelevant, because I did use phpMyAdmin to do the back up and restore.

But what do you mean by a workable copy? I followed the direction very closely.

    Thanks

Is this an issue with Customer Info is Lost or with importing the DB??

If the former, check the table on the donor system for # of entries...
    Should be one per customer
