Default Hiding the quantity box on product listing

    Hi all,

I'm in the process of customising a Zen Cart store, however i've got stuck!

    http://www.ukpipelinetools.co.uk/ind...444fa0c0e7cab3

I'm trying to remove the "Add:" boxes, and just have the price displaying. It seems you can turn this off via the admin, but it turns the whole thing off, so the prices don't display either.

I'd also like to get the model number displaying under the product title, and have a "View Product" button under the price. I've had a look at product_listing.php but have no idea where to start.

    Thanks for any help!

Admin - Configuration - Product Listing - Display Multiple Products Quantity Box ... should remove the box, but leave the price, if Display Add to Cart Button ... isn't set to '2'.

Thanks, I did play around with those options first but must have had them in the wrong order.

    1 more question:

On my product listing pages, i'd like to insert a banner/advert just above the h1 tag.

I could hard code it into the template file but the problem is I want a different image on each category. Also i'd like the banners to be updated from within Zen Cart if possible. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Banners, no. You can create and display an image with each category listing (see what she's done here: http://www.paramountcoffee.com/office/ ), but unless the ad is for your business, I wouldn't recommend it, especially in such a prime screen real estate area.

I'm looking to do something exactly like that, only thing i'm guessing it uses the category image?

I already have that in use, so I have can have things pulling into the subcategory listings such as:

    http://www.ukpipelinetools.co.uk/ind...=index&cPath=6

Regarding the Manufacturers and A-Z dropdowns on the listing page http://www.ukpipelinetools.co.uk/ind...dex&cPath=6_11 - how can I move them down slightly? I've tried finding the code in the template file to add an ID to the form, so I can style up via CSS but no luck so far.

In the example I cited, yes, that's the category image. I'm not sure what you're asking, though.

As far as styling, the first thing to do is install the Firefox browser, if you don't have it already, and then install the Web Developer plugin. Once installed, load your site, and hit Ctrl-Shift-Y. When you hover over an element, you'll see the part of the stylesheet that controls that element in the box at the top. Clicking on the element will show you the actual CSS. Ctrl-Shift-E will open the editor and you can make and see temporary stylesheet changes in real time. Very handy tool.
