    Default increasing fileupload size

    1.3.8

    link to site file

I've added a fileupload option as you can view from the link above. But I can't seem to upload more than 2 megs. I've updated the admin option in the maxium values to 10000000. What else can I look at/do to change this value up?

Or if there are any information that someone can point me to?

    Thanks for any help

Check your php.ini file in your root folder

file_uploads - It specifies whether file upload is allowed in PHP.
upload_max_filesize - It specifies the maximum file size that the PHP engine will accept.

    It's a place to start...

By changing some values in zencart I'm now able to upload not more than 8m. post_max_size is set to 8m and upload_max_filesize set to 10m which would make sense.

Can I change these values? Can I alter the php.ini file? is so where is it located? Or do I have to request this from the server host?

    Thanks

It should be right in your root folder - public_html if not, do a search in your host's support area

    Thanks marg.

    I've changed the upload_max_filesize and post_max_size to 40mg
It still doesn't always go through

I saw two other values called max_execution_time and max_input_time set to 30 and 60.

Will increasing these help? maybe the upload is timing out?

    Jason
